The Rafael Verdera sailing ship, with over a century of history, is not only an emblem of Spain’s maritime heritage, but also a unique setting for audiovisual productions on the high seas. Thanks to its authenticity, its imposing classic wooden construction and a historic charm that evokes whale-watching in deep waters, numerous artists and production companies have chosen our ship as a filming location for music videos, photo shoots and creative content. Ahorita — Carlos Sadness (Tropical rhythms under the Mediterranean sun)
During the summer of 2019, we had the privilege of working with Carlos Sadness’s production team. The fresh air of the high seas and the timeless aesthetic of our wooden decks became the perfect canvas for the chords of “Ahorita,” blending the spirit of the vessel with the artist’s tropical energy.
La Tempesta — La Pegatina (Energy and music defying the wind)
We were also an active part of the music video for the band La Pegatina. It was an absolute pleasure to share a voyage on the high seas with such a talented, rhythmic, and high-spirited crew, proving that our historic sailing boat knows how to dance with the waves to the beat of the best music.
Slow Dancing — V (BTS) (A global pop icon in Balearic waters)
The global pop music phenomenon chose us to be part of the filming for “Slow Dancing” in 2023, starring V of BTS. Seeing the majesty of our ship sailing the high seas in one of the most-watched productions on the planet makes us feel deeply proud and privileged of our living history.
